Bows (with advanced arrows)
Best overall weapon category. Fire/Venom/Explosive arrows handle every enemy type. Stealth headshots are devastating.
Two-Handed Mauls
Highest damage per hit. Thornmaul crushes armor. Slow but devastating power attacks.
One-Handed Swords + Shield
Balanced damage with shield protection. Parrying is efficient. Great for Knight/Defender builds.
One-Handed Axes
Good damage with moderate speed. New category in 1.0 with unique weapons like Runebreaker.
Two-Handed Swords
Good range and damage but no shield. Requires good parrying skills to survive.

Vampire
Lifesteal is universally powerful. Self-sustaining in long dungeon runs.
Warlock
Damage reflection at the cost of health. High risk, high reward.
Assassin
Stealth damage bonus stacks with Rogue tree. Lethal headshot builds.
Druid
Nature knowledge enhances ranged combat. Great synergy with bow builds.
Dark Knight
Brute force bonus. Perfect for Barbarian melee builds.
Priest
Healing boost. Good for Defender tanks and extended dungeon runs.
Witch Doctor
Sacrifice and curse mechanics. Niche but effective in undead-heavy areas.
Skeleton
Soul consumption. Decent sustain but overshadowed by Vampire.
Alchemist
Potion enhancement. Quality of life improvement.
Zombie
Health restoration from fallen. Situational usefulness.
Pirate
Treasure finding bonus. Nice for loot but no combat advantage.
Scion of Plunder
Wealth accumulation. No direct combat benefit.
